By this point my ideas were formed enough to actually implement them. Before I put pencil to paper it was already decided that this one would be #001. Given I’ve made 4 boxes full of practice and test bags, it was time to start for real. But alas, I’ve made a few very crucial mistakes. for instance I split my reinforcement on the same line as my leather which leads to it falling into itself on that line. Which looks horrible. Also had a lot of problems with the glue. So it might be my #001, I’ve declared it unsellable for obvious reasons. I do really like the model and color scheme though. It is a fairly large one though so it is shelved for the time being. A reminder to always check check double check, take one step back and check it all again.
